“O God, you are my God; I seek you. … Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you” (Psalm 63:1, 3, NRSV)

Welcome dear family in Christ to the Second Sunday in Lent @ First United Methodist Church-Kaufman, as we continue through Lent — which means “spring” — prepare our heart-soil, dear Jesus, to sprout with new life and blossom in faith. Amen. Pastor Rhea shares his message “Faith Works: Imitating” as taken from Philippians 3:17-4:1.

Let us join together as one body and sing praises with one voice for His glory.

“Your Love, O Lord”
“Lift High the Cross”
Choral Anthem “Grace”
“Ask Ye What Great Thing I Know”
“Are Ye Able”

The embrace of the Father be the comfort you desire. The name of the Son be the one on whom you rely. The presence of the Spirit be with you every hour. The Three in One be the focus of all you are.

We hope you have enjoyed this time of Praise and Worship for our ever present, loving God. Our prayer is that you have received God’s blessing today.
