Christmas on the Square & FUMC's Gingerbread-Themed Parade Float

The City of Kaufman's Christmas on the Square returns Saturday, December 6, with something for the whole family:

• Christmas Market (food & craft vendors): 12:00–8:00 p.m.
• Kids Zone (ice skating rink, snow tube slide, bounce houses, train rides, face painter, balloon artist): 12:00–5:00 p.m.
• Pictures with Santa, Heritage Park: 1:00–3:00 p.m.
• Craft Zone, ReChurch: 1:00–3:00 p.m.
• Lighted Parade: 6:00 p.m.
• City Hall tree lighting ceremony, pictures with Santa, and cookies: 7:00 p.m.

This year's parade is gingerbread themed, and floats are encouraged (and must be lighted). Parade line-up is at 5:00 p.m. at the Kaufman Civic Center, the parade begins at 6:00 p.m., and it ends at Shannon Park.

Kaufman FUMC will have an epic float in this year's Gingerbread Themed Lighted Christmas Parade! Shiloh and the Lear family are building a Gingerbread House Nativity — if you would like to help build it, let Shiloh know (580-743-0071).

We realize the parade is at the same time as the Tour of Homes, but if your shift with the tour will be over by 5:00, we would love for you to ride the float with us!
