Thank You Notes from the Staff

Each January, several staff members share their gratitude for the congregation's generosity during the Christmas season. Here are notes from a few of them.

Rev. Rhea Bullock writes: "Thank you so much for your generous and heartfelt gifts given to show your appreciation for the hard work of our amazing staff. All their efforts on a daily and weekly basis give us a church home and community we can be proud of and invite others to join. Let us journey into 2026 with a deep and growing love for Jesus, for the church community around us, and a desire to see those around us experience the embrace of God's love! Grace and peace to you all."

The Bullock family added their own note: "Dear FUMC Family, My family and I are so very grateful to have gotten to spend another year here with you all, worshiping and growing in grace together! This church and these people are an enormous blessing to us, and we are looking forward to continuing in ministry and friendship alongside you."

Leona Adams ("The Lord Is My Song") wrote: "I would like to sincerely thank the congregation for the staff appreciation gift I received. It went a long way toward Christmas at our house and is greatly appreciated. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Pam Caffey shared: "Dearest church family, I am so very blessed to serve you and serve alongside you throughout the year. I am grateful for your love, friendship, and your gift of appreciation. I pray for a gentle year for all of you."

Corey McCurry, the church's pianist, wrote: "Dear Church Family, I want to sincerely thank you all for the generous Christmas gift. Your kindness and thoughtfulness truly mean more to me than words can express. It is a blessing to serve as the pianist for Kaufman FUMC, and I am deeply grateful for the encouragement, support, and warmth you show — not just during the holidays, but throughout the year. I also truly enjoy the times I get to share a meal with some of you after church; those moments of fellowship mean a great deal to me and make this church feel even more like home. I especially want to thank you for your kind and enthusiastic response to the Christmas Concert. Your encouragement, smiles, and warm feedback meant so much to me and made the time and heart put into the music incredibly rewarding. Thank you again for your generosity and for making me feel so appreciated. I am truly thankful to be part of such a caring and gracious church family."

Bryan Smith, who helps with the slides and sound system, wrote: "Thank you for including me in the staff Christmas gift. It has been a pleasure helping with the slides and sound system. Thank you and have a blessed 2026."

Lori McCain wrote: "I truly appreciate what FUMC Kaufman has done for me. I enjoy every minute giving back to this church family as I care for those sweet girls on Wednesday nights. Thank you so much and bless you all!"
