Ways You Can SERVE One Hour (more or less) Ministry Simple ways to serve with meaningful impact Would you like to help with the weekly worship service? - Liturgist (read the scripture) - Communion Steward (set up communion table) - Assist Pastor Rhea with communion - Become an Usher/Greeter - Share a Children's Message Do you have an hour or so to spare each week? Check out these One Hour Ministries at FUMC! If there is a check mark next to the task, that means a volunteer has already signed up. Worship & Music - Provide Communion Bread (purchase or bake) - Join Chancel Choir - Become a Joyful Ringer (Bell Choir) Hospitality & Fellowship - Make Sunday Morning Coffee - Fellowship Hall Kitchen Steward Outreach & Service - First Fruits Sunday (Bring your donations of non-expired, non-perishable foods to church the 1st Sunday of each month.) - Deliver First Fruits donations to The Center - Deliver NOW Backpack items to Jr. High - Greeting Card Ministry - Meals on Wheels (Wednesdays) - Extend the Table (Homebound Communion once a month) - Gather Weekly Attendance from Red Books - Transportation Assistance for our elderly and homebound - Maintain Children's Worship Bags - Altar Flowers (Pickup from Brookshires as needed) Administration & Technology - Social Media (Website / Facebook) - Audio/Visual Team (Online and In-Person sound, slides, camera) Facilities & Grounds - Fellowship Hall – Deep Clean Tables - Sunday School/Bible Study Room Clean/Vacuum - Adult Center – Clean monthly - Flower & Prayer Garden Care - Deep Clean Pews/vacuum crevices - Grounds Cleanup (pick up fallen limbs as needed) - Facilities Minor Repairs / Organization - Maintain a Church Van Children & Youth - Nursery Volunteer - Become a Children's Sunday School Leader/Teacher.
