Bring Back the Easter Hat!

Celebrate Easter in Style—Bring Back the Easter Hat!
Easter Sunday is a joyful celebration of new life, fresh beginnings, and vibrant springtime beauty—and what better way to reflect that spirit than with a beautiful Easter hat! For years, I have worn a hat to church on Easter to honor my mother who would have walked naked down Main Street before going to church on Easter without a hat (and gloves). For generations, women have marked the holiday by wearing colorful, elegant, and creative hats to church and family gatherings. Let's revive that custom this year at Kaufman FUMC!
Ladies and girls, please join me and wear a hat this Easter Sunday to honor your mother or some other significant woman in your life. Whether your hat is simple or spectacular, handmade or store-bought, wearing one adds a festive touch that brightens the day for everyone. So dust off a favorite hat or find a new one that makes you smile—and if you don't have one, let me know, I can loan you one of mine. Let's make Easter Sunday a little more joyful and stylish!
