The Kaufman Chamber of Commerce is assembling 75 welcome bags for new teachers — here's how our church can help by July 26.
Each year the Kaufman Chamber of Commerce welcomes new teachers and educators with goody bags filled with items from area businesses. This year they are making 75 bags, and our church has participated in this ministry for the last several years.
If you would like to purchase one or two of the following items, let us know by July 26. We will also accept monetary donations to purchase needed items.
- Post-It Notes
- Notepads for the teacher
- Colored dry erase markers
- Assorted color highlighters
- Pencils for students (so teachers don't have to purchase them)
- Wrapped chocolate, mints, gum
