Ways You Can Serve
One Hour (more or less) Ministry — simple ways to serve with meaningful impact.
Would you like to help with the weekly worship service?
- Liturgist (read the scripture)
- Communion Steward (set up communion table)
- Assist Pastor Rhea with communion
- Become an Usher/Greeter
- Share a Children's Message
Worship & Music
- Provide Communion Bread (purchase or bake)
- Join Chancel Choir
- Become a Joyful Ringer (Bell Choir)
Hospitality & Fellowship
- Make Sunday Morning Coffee for Sunday School Classes
Outreach & Service
- First Fruits Sunday (bring non-expired, non-perishable food donations the 1st Sunday of each month)
- Greeting Card Ministry
- Meals on Wheels (Wednesdays)
- Extend the Table (homebound Communion once a month)
- Transportation Assistance for our elderly and homebound
- Altar Flowers (pickup from Brookshire's as needed)
Administration & Technology
- Social Media (Website / Facebook)
- Audio/Visual Team (online and in-person sound, slides, camera)
Facilities & Grounds
- Adult Center — clean monthly
- Grounds Cleanup (pick up fallen limbs as needed)
- Facilities Minor Repairs / Organization
- Maintain the Church Van

- Nursery Volunteer

Melissa, Marci, and Karen Park would love for you to join their team helping prepare the table for Holy Communion each Sunday. If we could add just one more person to the group, each of us would only have to set up the table for communion one time a month — but we can always use more!
It is not hard and it is not time consuming. It only takes about 15–20 minutes to prepare the table before church and another 15 minutes (at most) to clean up after church and set up for the following week. Karen purchases the juice and washes the element cloths; Pam, Tana, or Shiloh make the bread. So it is just preparing the elements for serving and cleaning up. We will have training so you will know exactly what needs to be done!
