Messiah?

On this first day of Advent, Lord, we are eager for your coming — at Christmas, at the end of time and in the present moment. Amen.

Welcome one and all to Sunday Morning Worship @ First United Methodist Church-Kaufman. A blessed Advent to you! Today as we worship, we begin the season of anticipation, hope and preparation for the coming Messiah.

Matthew 1: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” which means, ‘God is with us.

Pastor Rhea shares his message “Have you named Him - Messiah?” as taken from Matthew 1:17-18a.

Psalm 42:11 “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.”

Let us join together as one body and sing praises with one voice for His glory.

“Light of the Stable”
“Adore”
“Lift Up Your Head, Ye Mighty Gates”
“Angels From the Realms of Glory”
“Go Tell It on the Mountain (Refrain)”

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
